Ampac Insurance Agency was founded in 1988, by Arnold H. Zucker. What started as Arnold’s vision has grown into a trusted, family-owned agency rooted in service, community, and relationships.
In 1989, a young and determined Arlene Vella joined the company at just 19 years old. Arnold saw potential in her and took a chance—one that would forever shape the future of Ampac. Over time, Arnold became more than just a mentor; he became family. He taught Arlene the ins and outs of the insurance industry with patience and care, becoming a true father figure along the way.
After Arnold’s passing, Arlene took the helm in 2006 and has continued to lead the agency with the same passion, dedication, and personal touch that defined its beginnings. Under her leadership, Ampac has remained committed to serving individuals, families, and businesses with honesty and care.
We are proud to be a family-owned business deeply involved in the local community. From supporting the Babe Ruth League and Matawan sports teams to participating in Relay for Life, giving back has always been a part of who we are.
Today, Arlene’s son Michael has joined the company and brings specialized experience in commercial and personal insurance — continuing the legacy of personalized service and trusted guidance.
